Club Penguin Catchin’ Waves arrived at the Cove in 2007. It’s a cool game where you can show off your surf tricks and play different levels like Freestyle, Competition, or Survival. To start playing, open your map and waddle to the Cove. Next, waddle over to the game and begin playing.
How To Play
First, choose which game mode you want to play in. Freestyle is the easiest, Competition is medium, and Survival is hard. Surf Lesson is just a tutorial on how to play the game. So basically you just you mouse to steer where you go in the water. You perform different tricks by using your arrow keys on your keyboard or you can go above water and do different flips using your mouse. You can avoid getting sucked into the wave by moving up and down with your mouse which can make you go faster and get away from the wave. Just be sure not to fly out of the water on accident.
Game Upgrades
If you go to the Cove, there will be a blue catalog located on the Pink Daisy Surfboard that will let you buy upgrades for Catchin’ Waves. You can buy a Daisy Surfboard or a Flame Surfboard for 400 coins which will make you go faster. You can also get access to the Silver Surfboard for 800 coins by clicking on the ‘A’ in “Waves” in the title of the catalog. The Silver Surfboard makes you go very fast while playing Club Penguin Catchin’ Waves.
To play the game with one of the faster surfboards, just put on the surfboard in your playercard before starting the game. You can also bring your red puffle along for a walk with you to the game and it will surf with you.
